ITINERARY:

Day 1

Meet at Hosea Kutako International Airport and travel south, via the Tropic of Capricorn to the Kalahari region. This area is well known for its red dunes. End this day with a sundowner game drive, watching the sun set over the red Kalahari dunes.

Day 2.

Depart to the Fish River Canyon. On route visit places like Brukkaros, Quiver tree forest, Giant Playground and the Canyon. There is also an option to spend a night under the stars.

Day 3.

Depart to the Namib Naukliff Park via Seeheim to Aus. You should keep an eye out for the wild horses that live in the region of Aus.

Day 4.

On the Agenda today: the Feral Horses, Kolmanskop, Luderitz, Dias point and the Bogenfels rock arch as well as a boat trip to Halifax Island.

Day 5.

Today we will follow the road north to the Namib Naukluft Park and the Sossusvlei. We will visit Duiweseb Castle and taste the world famous Apple-pie of Goose McGregor at Solitaire

Day 6.

Enjoy the fantastic sight of the Sossusvlei Dunes, the Dead Vlei and the Sesriem Canyon

Day 7.

Depart to Swakkopmund via Walvisbay. Enjoy a boat cruise to see pelicans and flamingo’s whilst tasting some fresh oysters, enjoy a thrilling quad bike trip into the dunes and dine in some of the world’s most famous restaurants in Swakkopmund.

Day 8.

Use this day at leisure to enjoy a few of the many activities Swakopmund and Walvis Bay has to offer.

Day 9

From Swakopmund you will travel north, via Cape Cross, the seal colony to the Damaraland. We will visit Cape Cross, Lichenfields, swim in the “dead sea”, Twyfelfontein Rock paintings, Petrified forest, Organ Pipes & Burned Mountain.

Day 10

This day is at leisure. Take the opportunity to visit the highlights.

Day 11.

Depart to Etosha National Park (Western side) & experience the beauty of this National Park. Open vehicle game drives in the morning & afternoon are also included in this visit.

Day 12 & 13

Continue travelling to the Eastern side of the Etosha National Park. Wildlife is the main focus for the next few days. We will enjoy the wildlife in its natural habitat and use these two days to explore the park

Day 14.

From the Etosha National Park, you will travel to the Waterberg Plateau Park. Here you have the opportunity to enjoy the many scenic walks along the Plateau.

Day 15

Today we drive back to Windhoek. On arrival in Windhoek you will be taken to the airport for the departure flight (or as per alternative arrangement).
