ITINERARY:
Day 1 & 2
Our expedition to Botswana starts early morning from Kwa Nokeng just past the Groblersbrug border post where you can also fill up your vehicles .Our Safari will take us to Kubu Island today, a historic rock outcrop in the Makgadikgadi. Crowned with an array of ancient, gnarled baobabs and surrounded on three sides by a vast grey emptiness, Kubu has a unique atmospheric beauty and excellent stare gazing opportunities. We will also explore the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park and Baines’ Baobabs, Nxai Pans. We will however stop at all the interesting places, experiencing true Africa culture & hospitality.

Day 3 & 4
Departing to Maun, one can consider Maun as the starting point for most expeditions into the Okavango Delta. We will also take a trip on a Mokgoro down the Okavango River and exploring the traditional villages along the western fringes of the Delta, a highlight of our travel.

Day 5 & 6
Our journey today will take us to the Moreni Game Reserve, ranking as one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa. This makes for spectacular game viewing and bird watching in this “Big Five” reserve.

Distance travelled over two days: 150 km
Day 7
Today we will make our way to Khwai Wilderness Camp. On route we will explore some interesting sites like Dead Tree Island

Day 8
Our journey continues to the Savuti Nature Reserve, ever searching for the big 5. Today we arrive at the world famous Chobe National Park

Distance travelled: 240 km (travel time however is 6h30min)
Day 9
The first glimpse of the Chobe River – deep and dazzling in the sandy terrain – is always breath taking. The Chobe supports a density and concentration of wildlife. Taking a sunset river cruise will give you an opportunity to experience the Park and the animals from another vantage point. Here you will get close up and personal with elephants, hippo, crocodile and an array of water birds. We will also head towards Kasane where we will spend the afternoon at leisure or engage in activities that the town got to offer.

Day 10
After an early breakfast, we will greet and depart as friends till our next adventure together.
